Let the train take the strain...

Just back from a fantastic couple of days in Angouleme, France, visiting Maria and her family (Hi guys). I couldn't put anything on the blog about it before now as it was a surprise for Maria. I caught the train down, only to be greeted by the news that terrorists were targeting Italy and they were concentrating on the trains... Luckily the most unpleasant thing I encountered on the journey home was a slightly pungent Russian woman, held together entirely by makeup, who sat in the same carriage as me. Maria came to Paris to see me off and we spent a day there being ultra-tourists. Mind you the Eiffel Tower is pretty fantastic.
